Academically Jordal was the best student, but he active in many sports which included basketball and wrestling. Upon graduating High School, Hunt enlisted in Starfleet. After completing his training Jordal was assigned to the USS Clinton as Quartermaster. Typically, Jordal hadn't always been the best academically, but it was interesting enough to find out that he was actually good when came to learner about everything that came with operations. His superiors quickly noticed how serious, effeiant and focused the Crewman was in completing his task and after two years, expressed an interest in wanting to become a Transporter Specialist. When he was promoted to Petty Officer 3rd Class, he was reassigned a Transporter Specialist. Among the Enlisted personnel, Jordal continued to remain a favorite in which discussed how he would have a fine career in operations. The young man was honored to hear this, but he couldn't help but to wonder if a career on the Enlisted side of Operations would simply be enough. As a Chief Petty Officer, he would have a lot of say running a section. The next option would be Chief of the Boat of Command Chief. In all honesty, Jordal had no urge for command but he very would like to run his own Operations Department. After discussing the matter with the Chief Operations Officer, Executive Officer, then finally his Commanding Officer. Hunt was recommended for the Starfleet Officer Program in 2380. Upon completing the Starfleet Officer Program, Hunt was reassigned to the USS Knoxville as an Operations Officer. The next two years, Hunt made it a point to learn all the aspect of his new position and even received a promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade. Things were going very well until is on an away mission. Several member of the team were killed or injured including himself. Over the last two minutes, Jordal has been recovering from his injuries and going through counseling. During his time off, Hunt was made aware of the program. Curious about the aspect of training young people, the Lieutenant put in an Instructor position and was picked for the assignment. |
